My Story

I received my doctorate in Counseling Psychology from Fordham University, an APA accredited program. Prior to that, I received my MSEd in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University and my Bachelor's degree in Applied Psychology/Human Development from Boston College.

I completed my pre-doctoral internship training and my postdoctoral fellowship training at VA Puget Sound- American Lake, specializing in PTSD and DBT. I have worked in a variety of settings, including a partial hospital program, an inpatient unit, a college counseling center, private practice, and multiple Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Centers. I have ample experience working with patients from a variety of backgrounds, and approach therapy from a multicultural, holistic, intersectional perspective that takes into account each patient's varied identities. I have extensive training and experience working with trauma, DBT, and evidence-based protocols.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, doing yoga, hiking, and chasing my cat off the counter.
