Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy

I use a mixture of cognitive behavioral (CBT), dialectical behavioral (DBT), and relational psychodynamic therapies as appropriate (For more information on what this means, please see the blog section).  We will discuss what you want to work on and create a therapy that is right for you, and have continued discussions around how you feel therapy is going. Just like every person is unique, every therapy treatment is unique as well. 

Structured Time-Limited Therapy

These therapies are time-limited and follow a specific protocol. These therapies are very helpful for anyone wanting to tackle on a specific problem who wants a targeted approach to treatment. I have extensive training in these modalities and offer the following:

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma

    • 12-14 weeks long​

  • Prolonged Exposure (PE) for trauma

    • 12-16 weeks long​

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy-Prolonged Exposure (DBT-PE) for trauma

    • Length varies​
  • ​Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT) for depression​
    • 12-16 weeks​
